peeterpoon 12/14

I reviewed the “Strawberry Point School” reissue when it came out in 2000 on Varese Sarabande for my newspaper, the Queens Chronicle here in New York City.
I believe that Bumble Bee Tuna “borrowed” your sound for an early ’70s commercial whith kids marching up a Southern California beach singing.
I am glad that the full version of the video has finally appared. That Francis Ford Coppola guy showed a nice touch on this. I wonder what ever happened to him.

A New Agent for our Pride & Prejudice

Sunday, December 2nd, 2007

Author Josie Brown and I are pleased to announce that our musical of Pride and Prejudice is now being represented by the Robert A Freedman Dramatic Agency, 1501 Broadway, Suite 2310, NY 10036.
Yesterday columnist/author Gerald Nachman interviewed us about the show at the Jane Austen Society’s Annual Meeting. We played some of the songs, to a rousing reception. The Austenites, a notoriously tough crowd, gave their rresounding approval. And we are very close to signing with a theatre for our world premiere. Details to follow.
