Composer and singer Rita Abrams was at the center of the reunion last week on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of her hit song, “Mill Valley.” The singers, who were in the third-grade class of the Strawberry Point School when the album was made, have grown up, of course. Seven of them attended the reunion, along with five of their mothers. “It was incredible,” said Abrams of the “Mill Valley” video (which is on YouTube), “watching those carefree little 8-year-olds frolicking around, with their grown-up selves.”
